Senior pictures are meant to serve as a reflection of who you are now while you prepare to end one chapter of your life and begin another. Let me help you have a fun, layed back, judgement free experience resulting in the amazing senior pictures you have waited so long for.
The WHO, WHAT,WHEN, WHERE and WHY of senior pictures.
WHO: Each student entering into their senior year of high school is encouraged to get senior pictures taken.
WHAT: Senior pictures are different from what you are used to. You will receive not only the head and shoulder yearbook picture but a full session showcasing your personality.
WHEN: Each student should be photographed the spring or summer previous to their senior year.
WHY: Usually students are a lot less busy during the summer, you will need to submit the yearbook photo early in the school year, the weather is nice so we can shoot outdoors.
How to prepare for senior pictures:
- Schedule your haircut and/or color a week and a half to two weeks prior to your session
- Bring a variety of looks from casual to dressy
- Dress head to toe include shoes, accessories, nails
- Bring props to your session. Sports, pets, friends, hobbies etc.
- Bring at least one timeless outfit ( solid colored shirt, little to no pattern)
- Darker colors and solids minimize body size
- Remember there may not be a changing room available so we may have to get creative about where you change
- Guys don’t wear your hat to the session, it leaves creases
- Be aware of sun tan lines and burns in the days prior to your session
