Family Portraits

FUN! Winter Family Portraits

Its not everyday that you get a family that is willing to hike through the woods on a 25 degree day for a family portrait! But it was soooo worth it! I loved everything about this shoot but none of this would have been possible without the GREAT FUN-LOVING attitudes of Missy and her family. Thank you all so much for making my job so fun!

Newborn

Newborn Aiden in Pavilion, NY

So when I arrived at the Palmer house ( two days before Christmas ) I expected to see what we would all expect when walking into a home with a five-day old newborn and three siblings. A Mom looking thoroughly exhausted, the house in disarray you get the idea! This WAS NOT the case walking into the Palmer home! I was greeted at the door by mommy Nikki looking as BEAUTIFUL as ever (and well rested I might add) with their beautiful newborn Aiden and all three siblings sitting quietly on the couch SHARING a DS plus the house was spotless. Meanwhile two thoughts ran through my mind 1. I am a terrible house wife if I can’t keep my house clean with one child! And 2. Maybe I should have more kids….she makes it look sooooo easy! This was a great session and a opprotunity to spend time with a truly wonderful family.

Jill and Eddie Engagement Session

I have known Jill for quite some time now and she has always proven to be a little ray of sunshine. She has an infectious giggle that always leaves you wondering what exactly is going on in that brain of hers. So needless to say when she asked if I could photograph her engagement pictures I was thrilled. We had a beautiful fall day at a Godfrey’s Pond and even Eddie had fun! Congratulations to the happy and fun-loving couple!

The Beginning

It only seems appropriate to give thanks where thanks is due. My awesome logo designed by the amazing Kristen Fuest, I have known Kristen for several years now and it meant so much to me that she agreed to take the job. Having anyone else design this logo just wouldn’t have felt right. She is a talented and gifted designer and person. I asked Kristen to design something fresh, and fun with a natural element included. She was more than accommodating and patient with me all the while knowing this would be my choice!  Inspired by none other than little Miss Autumn Cooper I thought some images with Autumn and the signature dandy-lion from the logo in her mitt would be fun!
